The Story So Far

2000: After a very successful career as a passenger, Nick took the wise decision to drive. Teaming up with life long friend Darren, the new kids on the block (on a borrowed outfit) took the sidecar world by storm, both locally and on mainland UK

2001: With the TT races cancelled due to ‘Foot and Mouth’, Nick and Darren concentrated on local championships with the Andreas Racing Association, clearing up at Jurby and taking all sidecar crowns open to them.

2002 came and brought with it the opportunity for the dynamic pairing to achieve their life-times ambition, to compete in the ‘Isle of Man TT Races’. Their local knowledge became invaluable as they hustled their 10 year old bike round at an astonishing 108mph average, making them the fastest 'newcomers' in the history of the event (by some 3mph), stamping their authority on the sidecar paddock.

2003 brought wins at British Super Bike meeting at Mondello Park, Ireland, Gedine in Belguim, more wins at jurby and a retirement whilst leading the ‘Southern 100’, With all their success, nobody could have predicted what the family backed team achieved in June, an overall ‘TT’ win beating the best there are at the worlds most demanding race circuit.
In only their second showing at the event, young guns Nick Crowe and Darren Hope pull off the almost impossible, finishing the TT races as winners of the sidecar class

2004: With the purchase of Dave Molyneax's 2003 outfit, the team is looking to capitalise on last years success and will be competing at the Isle of Man TT races, the Southern 100, and Jurby races. The boys will also be Flying the Mamarco flag at selected rounds of the FSRA British Formula II Championship together with guest appearances at as many foreign race meetings as the budget will stretch to.

2004 TT brought Nick & Darren second place in both races, and an average speed around the islands roads of 110.61mph in race B. Darren even had time to pose casually for the camera as they jumped at Ballaugh Bridge...

‘What ever and where ever the outfit is rolled out one thing is for sure, the crowd will be
entertained beyond bursting as the team give 110% both on and off the track’
